Northern Ireland

Updated: December 19 by Mauro

Northern Ireland is a part of the United Kingdom. It's located on the north east of the island of Irelad. Northern Ireland shares a border with the Republic of Ireland to the south and west. It was created on 1921, when Ireland was partitioned between Northern Ireand and Southern Ireland, the first ones being unionists wishing to remain in the United Kigdom.

History of the Counties

During the English Administration in Ireland and the following years, the counties were created as subdivisions of an Irish province. This was done during the 13th to 17th centrues, although the counties would not be definerly defined until the Flight of the Earls in 1604.

Northern Ireland's Counties list:

Antrim
Armagh
